  • Hogia and Seastreak in breakthrough deal

    Hogia Ferry Systems is implementing its market-leading BOOKIT reservation, ticketing and check-in solution under a contract with new client Seastreak, the US fast ferry operator. This breakthrough agreement further strengthens Hogia´s strong foothold in North America and also enables Seastreak to launch a state-of-the-art e-commerce platform.

  • Hogia participates in award winning project

    At London Transport Awards on March 1st, the London Demonstrator of European Bus System of the Future 2 (EBSF2) programme won the Most Innovative Transport Project award. The award was presented by Leon Daniels and was collected by Mathew Hudson of Transport for London.

  • Sustainable transportation a hot topic at the School of Business, Economics and Law

    In December, Hogia’s Lars Tingström visited the Gothenburg School of Business, Economics and Law and delivered a presentation on sustainable transportation based on integrated and standardised IT systems. It’s a subject that appeals to many people, not least the students at the School’s Logistics Faculty.

  • Hogia signs with the Argentinian operator Colonia Express

    Hogia Ferry Systems have signed an agreement with Argentinian ferry operator Colonia Express, to deliver the reservation and ticketing system, BOOKIT. This is Hogia’s first client in the South American market, meaning that BOOKIT is now being used by ferry operators on every continent, with the exception of Antarctica.

  • Hogia in the glimmer of the eastern Emerald

    Hogia Ferry Systems have signed an agreement with Indonesian Ro-Ro operator JZK. JZK is a start-up operation, connecting Jakarta and Surabaya. Cargo transported between the two cities is today transported by trucks. The 800 km journey takes three driving days. JZK, with their two vessels can cover the same distance sailing along the coastline in around one day.

    I jul har Hogia valt bort julklappar till kunder och istället skänkt pengar till Sjöräddningssällskapet i Stenungsund där Hogia har sitt huvudkontor. Behovet av sjöräddning växer. I somras genomfördes det högsta antalet sjöräddningsinsatser på tio år. Sjöräddarna arbetar frivilligt och oavlönat. Den gemensamma drivkraften är viljan att hjälpa och rädda liv.

  • ​Utvikling av en alt-i-ett-reiseapp i Norge

    Den 1. juni lanserte Møre og Romsdal fylkeskommune en ny app som skulle gjøre det enkelt for de reisende å få tilgang til all informasjon som er nødvendig for å reise kollektivt. Reiseplanlegging, billettkjøp, sanntidsinformasjon og avviksinformasjon for busser, hurtigbåter og ferjer i Møre og Romsdal samlet i én og samme app. Appen har slått an på kort tid og er lastet ned 20 000 ganger.

  • Hogia expands within the transport industry

    IT-supplier Hogia continues its pattern of steady growth and is now investing in a new business area, Hogia Transport Systems. Transport Systems will oversee all Hogia’s activities within the transport industry. This new business area has a predicted growth of 35 percent by 2020.

  • Engelskt rederi tecknar avtal med Hogia

    Isle of Scilly Steamship Group (ISSG) erbjuder passagerartrafik och godstransporter mellan fastlandet och Scillyöarna, 45 kilometer utanför Storbritanniens sydvästkust. Förutom passagerar- och fraktfartyg har företaget också ett eget flygbolag, Skybus. Nu har ISSG tecknat avtal med Hogia om att införa BOOKIT, Hogias boknings- och biljettsystem.

    The need for transport is experiencing a steady increase and the maritime industry is vital to both freight and passenger movement worldwide. At next week’s European ITS Congress in Glasgow, Kicki Bjurström will present the significant benefits in deploying IT systems for port operations.

  • H as in HH Ferries and Hogia Ferry Systems

    Hogia Ferry Systems has been selected as the long-term partner and supplier of a standard software system for HH Ferries. Their ferry operation runs between Helsingborg in Sweden and Helsingör in Denmark. Hogia Ferry Systems’ BOOKIT product is already live and handling ticketing, reservations and invoicing. With the help of a new web platform, HH Ferries is looking to increase online sales.

  • New collaboration required new logistics system

    When Logent acquired the shipping company CLdN as a new RO-RO customer, a new type of IT support was needed to ensure the efficient and secure handling of import and export goods within the terminal at the Port of Gothenburg. Logent already had experience of using Hogia systems in other terminals, so it was an obvious choice to deploy a solution from Hogia for this new operation as well.

  • Kundförvärv krävde nytt logistiksystem

    När Logent fick rederiet CLdN som ny roro-kund krävde det nya samarbetet ett nytt IT-stöd för att kunna hantera import- och exportgodset vid hamnterminalen i Göteborg på ett effektivt och säkert sätt. Med erfarenhet av Hogias system på flera andra terminaler blev det naturligt att välja Hogias lösning också i det här fallet.

  • Swedish IT company Hogia grows in transport systems

    2015 was another strong year for Swedish IT company Hogia. For the seventh consecutive year, the company's workforce expanded by 25 employees. The company had positive profits for the 25th consecutive year. Profit after net financial items was SEK 19 (23.5) million. This is in line with Hogia's ambition to make profits equalling 4 percent of sales.

  • Scandinavia's largest RORO terminal puts the environment first

    Trelleborg is one of Europe's largest ferry ports, with an average of 30 arrivals and departures every day. EU has chosen Trelleborg to be one of the core ports in the European TEN-T network. The port of Trelleborg is aiming to be the most climate-smart port in the Baltic and, with the help of state-of-the-art IT solutions, it is on its way to achieving this objective.

  • Hogia delivers terminal system to Ports of Stockholm

    As part of the urban development of Norra Djurgårdsstaden, Ports of Stockholm is redeveloping Värtahamnen. The new port will be made more efficient and safe. Hogia will supply the terminal system responsible for handling goods transports.

  • Hogia shake hands with Riverside Marine

    Hogia Ferry Systems have signed an agreement with the Australian company Riverside Marine to deliver the market-leading reservation and ticketing system BOOKIT. This is Hogia’s first client in the Australian market.
