  • New collaboration required new logistics system

    When Logent acquired the shipping company CLdN as a new RO-RO customer, a new type of IT support was needed to ensure the efficient and secure handling of import and export goods within the terminal at the Port of Gothenburg. Logent already had experience of using Hogia systems in other terminals, so it was an obvious choice to deploy a solution from Hogia for this new operation as well.

    2015 was another strong year for Swedish IT company Hogia. For the seventh consecutive year, the company's workforce expanded by 25 employees. The company had positive profits for the 25th consecutive year. Profit after net financial items was SEK 19 (23.5) million. This is in line with Hogia's ambition to make profits equalling 4 percent of sales.

    As part of the urban development of Norra Djurgårdsstaden, Ports of Stockholm is redeveloping Värtahamnen. The new port will be made more efficient and safe. Hogia will supply the terminal system responsible for handling goods transports.

    ​Hogia has signed a new contract with ShoreLink covering the introduction of Hogia’s TOS system at ShoreLink’s Haraholmen container terminal in Piteå. ShoreLink is investing in a more efficient logistics system in response to increased volumes. The introduction of the Hogia Terminal System suite is also expected to provide ShoreLink’s customers with new opportunities for improved service.

As an extension to the ferry reservation system BOOKIT, delivered by Hogia Ferry Systems and in operation since 2007, Marine Atlantic selected Hogia’s standard HT Complete solution to be implemented to support the operations at all three ports.

  • Hogia ties up at the Scottish west coast

    ​Scottish David MacBrayne Ltd (DML) has awarded Worldline, the European leader in the payments and transactional services industry, and Hogia Ferry Systems a contract to provide a modern integrated booking and ticketing system to the multi-award-winning ferry operator CalMac Ferries Ltd and Argyll Ferries Ltd, serving the Clyde and Hebrides. With almost 5 million passengers per year.
