Hogia Ferry Systems has signed an agreement with the Tunisian ferry operator Compagnie Tunisienne de Navigation (CTN) to deliver the reservation and ticketing system BOOKIT. CTN operates a cruise-like passenger and vehicle ferry service from Tunis to Genoa, Italy and from Tunis to Marseille, France and has intentions to expand their business further.
Hogia AB has appointed Reino Johansson as the new Chairman of the Board. He succeeds Jan Rudberg, who is retiring after 20 years. Reino Johansson has extensive management experience working in various positions with PwC, Deloitte Telia and Ericsson.
The RoRo terminal at the Port of Heysham is the hub for a large part of the freight that travels between north-west England, the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, and the Isle of Man. Port of Heysham awarded to Hogia the contract to supply a terminal operating system to digitalise the management of freight transport through the terminal thereby increasing the terminal’s efficiency.
Eckerö Linjen, operator of ferry services between Sweden and Åland, has signed two new contracts for booking systems. To offer a more flexible and modern booking solution for its travellers, an agreement has been signed with Hogia Ferry Systems for bus and ferry bookings, and with Visit Group for Åland accommodation and tourism services.
Hogia Ferry Systems is implementing its market-leading BOOKIT reservation, ticketing and check-in solution under a contract with new client Seastreak, the US fast ferry operator. This breakthrough agreement further strengthens Hogia´s strong foothold in North America and also enables Seastreak to launch a state-of-the-art e-commerce platform.
At London Transport Awards on March 1st, the London Demonstrator of European Bus System of the Future 2 (EBSF2) programme won the Most Innovative Transport Project award. The award was presented by Leon Daniels and was collected by Mathew Hudson of Transport for London.

It’s a subject that appeals to many people, not least the students at the School’s Logistics Faculty.

Vaggeryds kombiterminal trafikeras till och från Göteborgs hamn sex dagar i veckan med uppemot 650 meter långa tågset. Nu vill terminalen ha möjlighet att hantera ännu större godsvolymer och har investerat i ett nytt terminalsystem från Hogia som kommer att automatisera många arbetsprocesser.
When Logent acquired the shipping company CLdN as a new RO-RO customer, a new type of IT support was needed to ensure the efficient and secure handling of import and export goods within the terminal at the Port of Gothenburg. Logent already had experience of using Hogia systems in other terminals, so it was an obvious choice to deploy a solution from Hogia for this new operation as well.
När Logent fick rederiet CLdN som ny roro-kund krävde det nya samarbetet ett nytt IT-stöd för att kunna hantera import- och exportgodset vid hamnterminalen i Göteborg på ett effektivt och säkert sätt. Med erfarenhet av Hogias system på flera andra terminaler blev det naturligt att välja Hogias lösning också i det här fallet.
2015 was another strong year for Swedish IT company Hogia. For the seventh consecutive year, the company's workforce expanded by 25 employees. The company had positive profits for the 25th consecutive year. Profit after net financial items was SEK 19 (23.5) million. This is in line with Hogia's ambition to make profits equalling 4 percent of sales.
As part of the urban development of Norra Djurgårdsstaden, Ports of Stockholm is redeveloping Värtahamnen. The new port will be made more efficient and safe. Hogia will supply the terminal system responsible for handling goods transports.

Hogia has signed a new contract with ShoreLink covering the introduction of Hogia’s TOS system at ShoreLink’s Haraholmen container terminal in Piteå. ShoreLink is investing in a more efficient logistics system in response to increased volumes. The introduction of the Hogia Terminal System suite is also expected to provide ShoreLink’s customers with new opportunities for improved service.
